The demo on the left hand side is just a very basic gameplay demo to illustrate the level of difficulty. “Somewhat difficult” is the easiest of three levels. The demo will start over after you have finished a round.

Each game challenges you to identify 30 fonts, with your final score calculated taking into account your overall time. Although there’s no time limit, the quicker you answer, the more points you’ll score, and the more you’ll impress your friends and family.
With some 600 font specimens from dozens of foundries, you’ll want to play again and again.
In addition to being fantastic fun, the Font Game will introduce you to dozens, perhaps hundreds of fonts you’ve never seen before. With practice you’ll learn to identify even the most obscure typefaces, expanding your typographic repertoire, and training your eye to the often subtle and sometimes not so subtle differences.
Play a game, then view your answers to discover where you went wrong; then play, and play again.
The Rules
Your overall score is based on the number of correct answers and your reaction time. In the case of more than one player having the same score, we will rank the most recent one first.
Your position in the hall of fame is based on your calculated score. For example, 29 points in 50 seconds will get a higher score than 30 points in five minutes.
You can keep track of your standing by following @fontgame on Twitter. We’ll DM you if you lose your place on the hall of fame top 10 list to someone else.
You will only be notified once per declining score, so we’re not going to spam you every time your position changes.

The all-time highest scores will be determined by the best scores in each level of difficulty. The hall of fame will also display the scores submitted during the current month. Monthly archives coming soon.

- I don’t have an iPhone or an iPod touch — how can I play this game?
You can’t. - Do I need an Internet connection?
No. The game works perfectly well offline, but you need to be connected to post your scores to the hall of fame. - When will you port this to platform X?
There are no plans to port the game to any other system, but feel free to contact us if you are a developer and have something specific in mind. - I’d like to review your game. Can I get a discount code?
We only get a limited amount of promo codes, so it’s highly unlikely we have any to spare. - Where can I find high-quality press material?
